The School
Randstad Education is partnering with a leading Government Secondary College located in the quiet, residential northern suburbs of Melbourne. This innovative and caring school prioritises knowing every student and staff member as an individual learner. Set on a picturesque site adjacent to Gresswell Forest, the college offers a tranquil environment with spacious grounds and a developing school farm.
The school is currently experiencing strong growth through its PACE21 (Passion and Choice, Empowerment 21st Century skills) program. This unique vertical structure allows students to choose the pace of their own learning journey rather than being bound by traditional year levels. If you are a curious, flexible educator who values student empowerment and 21st-century skill development, this is the perfect community for you.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join the team. This position focuses on delivering high-quality numeracy and maths instruction within the school's flexible learning framework.
- Implement the Victorian Curriculum through the PACE21 vertical structure, catering to students at their specific point of need.
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform future teaching and provide feedback to parents.
- Work within a team of generalist thinkers to develop interdisciplinary links and future-focused learning experiences.
Benefits- Work in a school that rejects the "one-size-fits-all" model in favour of student choice and vertical progression.
- Access 3D printers, robotics labs, and a 1:1 digital technology program.
- Join a diverse, inclusive community with established house teams and student empowerment guidelines.
